STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Congrats are in order for Rab’s Country Lanes, Dongan Hills.
The .NYC registry team, which is managed by Neustar, held its Best of Boroughs 2020 Virtual Awards Celebration to honor five organizations that use .NYC domain name in each borough of New York City. Among the five winners representing each borough, Rab’s Country Lanes was named Best of Staten Island.
Each of the five winners received a cash prize of $5,000. Over 50,000 votes were cast to select the winning groups. Rounding out the other 2020 Winners: Catchy Pest Control (Bronx), Field Form (Brooklyn), Chinatown Soup (Manhattan) and SchizophrenicNYC (Queens).
Rab’s have always been on the cutting-edge. “My father always believed in staying ahead of the trends and investing back into our business,” said Rab’s proprietor Frank Wilkinson. “Essentially, we were one of the first businesses in Staten Island to have a website — ours goes back to 1997.”
“Now, more than ever, people are heading online to find what they need. Our website ensures they can learn everything they need to know about Rab’s.”
Rab’s website (Bowlatrabs.nyc) provides guests the convenience of making online reservations for bowling, book parties, purchase gift cards, stay up to date with everything Rab’s, and so much more.
“As soon as we saw an opportunity to acquire a web address ending with .NYC, we took it. Rab’s has deep roots in our community. It just made good business sense to own a .NYC URL. Our website connects us to our community at large, it is our brand, it is who we are.”

Past Best of Staten Island winners include: Maker Park Radio (2017), Staten Island Chamber of Commerce Foundation (2018), and MakerSpace NYC (2019).
