Who Goes First?

Sometimes more than one bowler will be on the approach at the same time. In that case, generally speaking, whichever bowler got there first will bowl first. If it’s not clear who got there first, the bowler to the right should go first. Of course, that can change with several factors, so use your best judgment and be respectful of others.

Where Do We Chat?

Not on the approach! The approach is for bowling, not socializing. Remember, there are people waiting. Keep the conversation to the seats and the snack bar.

Stay In Your Lane.

Bowling is fun, but that doesn’t mean you should run wild. Running, wrestling, throwing things, and the like are dangerous for you, other bowlers, and the bowling alley itself, and could get you kicked out. Don’t forget to keep your limbs contained in your own lane–nobody wants stray hands or feet distracting them.

Pay Attention.

Yes, bowling is a social game, but if you’re holding everyone up, your friends and teammates will quickly get frustrated with you. Keep track of what’s going on and don’t miss your turn.
