STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The 22nd Annual Bowling Against Breast Cancer Bowl-a-Thon returns to Rab’s Country Lanes this fall, continuing its impactful legacy of supporting breast cancer initiatives. Since its inception, the event has raised more than $763,000 for local and national causes.

Scheduled for Sunday, October 19, 2025, the fundraiser will be hosted by WPIX News 11’s Greg Mocker and will benefit both the Breast Health Navigation Program at Staten Island University Hospital and the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Campaign.

“For more than two decades, our community has come together to bowl by rallying around a cause that touches so many lives. Each year we get closer to the day when no family has to hear the words ‘you have breast cancer,’ and it’s the support of our community that makes that possible,” said Frank Wilkinson, proprietor of Rab’s Country Lanes.

Participants can register for $50, which includes two hours of bowling, lunch from Rab’s Kitchen, a commemorative T-shirt, and a participant gift. The event is presented by Rab’s Country Lanes and Country Pro Shop & Awards Center, and offers a range of sponsorship opportunities — from $100 lane sponsorships to $2,500 PowerHouse Pink packages that include banner placement, team registration, and brand promotion.

Founded in the mid-1990s, Rab’s Country Lanes has become a cornerstone of community service on Staten Island, raising over $500,000 annually for local organizations through fundraisers and events. The venue has earned numerous accolades, including Staten Island Small Business of the Year from the NYC Neighborhood Achievement Awards and recognition among the Top 50 Small Businesses in NYC by 1010 WINS.
