Breast Cancer is one of the most common cancers in New York State, with over 15,000 new diagnoses every year. At Rab’s Country Lanes in partnership with Country Pro Shop & Awards Center, we’re committed to striking out breast cancer in our lifetime. Join us for the 15th Annual Bowling Against Breast Cancer Bowl-A-Thon!
This year our annual fundraiser is on Sunday, October 22, beginning at 1:00 pm. The minimum donation is $50 per person, and you’ll get to enjoy two hours of bowling, pizza, beverages, cake, raffles, prizes, and more, hosted by celebrity guest host Greg Mocker of WPIX 11! Put together your team and click here to register, either with friends or bowling solo. All proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to local breast cancer charities, including the Florina Rusi-Marke Comprehensive Breast Center at Staten Island University Hospital and the Making Strides Campaign of the American Cancer Society.
You don’t have to stop at $50, though. We welcome and encourage higher donations! In the last 14 years, we’ve raised $537,000–that’s an average of $38,357 per event. This year we want to shatter our average and raise $50,000, but we need your help to do it. Make sure to ask friends and family to sponsor you, because we’ll be giving prizes for our top fundraisers! Even if you can’t make it, our registration page can accept donations. We also happily accept donations of items for raffles and prizes.
